Last weekend was the last race of the 2020 Ultra-Trail® World Tour circuit! And what better way to end the year than with Javelina Jundred?!

The 18th edition of this race was marked by incredible performances and despite the sanitary protocol put in place by the organization, the atmosphere remained true to the race: festive! A total of 540 runners started in waves and the elite athletes started their race at 6am on Saturday morning. They had 30 hours to complete this course made of 5 loops of 32 km.

See you from Thursday until the end of the weekend in the United States, in the McDowell Mountain Regional Park in Arizona!  On the program: 100 miles, 2408 D+ and costumes!  Javelina Jundred is the next and last race of the circuit. Gaoligong by UTMB®, which was scheduled to close the 2020 season in December, will not be held as well as Trans Jeju, Penyagolosa Trails HG, Patagonia Run and Ultra-Trail® Cape Town.  It will take place under special sanitary conditions. The race will be divided into several waves of starts. The first to leave will start on Thursday at 6 pm and 7 pm, then 6 am on Friday and 6 am and 7 am on Saturday morning.

This weekend took place the Ultra-Trail® Ninghai, the 6th race to be held on the 2020 circuit of the Ultra-trail® World Tour. We went for a 108 km and 5100 D+ course on the largest hiking paths in China: the Ninghai Trail. It was a great race despite the various restrictions and the limited number of participants. Unfortunately, foreigners could not participate in this edition. We still saw a very good line-up of athletes on the starting line. The title holders Longfei Yan and Fuzhao Xiang were also present to put their title back on the line! So there was a lot of competition! A total of 288 runners crossed the finish line within the allotted time.

A new race of the 2020 Ultra-Traill® World Tour circuit is taking place this weekend! We are happy to return to the trails and this time to China, to the Ultra-Trail® Ninghai. If you are a fan of our circuit you know that the Ultra-Trail® Ninghai was already present in the circuit last year. This race has indeed changed from Discovery Race to UTWT 500. As a reminder, there will be no ranking this year.

The 2020 Ultra-Trail® World Tour calendar has been affected by the COVID-19 global health crisis. But last July, we announced the come back of the 2020 UTWT circuit in Russia, and the next stage will take place this weekend in Canada.
